How To Hire

 

Before hiring, if you have any questions, please read our FAQ section and hopefully you will find the answers there, if not, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to answer your questions directly.

There are three ways to make a booking:

Option 1:  Book and pay online

1.   Enter your hire dates in the relevant section on the top left hand side of the web page.

2.   Choose your hire item and click "add to cart".

3.   Review your hire cart.
      Note:  if at this stage one or more of your requested items are unavailable for the dates or quantity you have entered, please contact us directly and we may be able to juggle things to accommodate your needs or offer an alternative.

4.  Calculate delivery and update total.

5.  For multiple hire items, click "continue hiring" and repeat No. 2 & 3 until all required items have been added.

6.   Click "proceed to checkout" and follow the prompts.
   
   Note:  you can either check out as a guest, or register your details as part of the checkout process.  By registering your details, your booking information is saved and this will speed up the checkout process for any future bookings.

7.   Information to include in the "additional information box":
      -   Holiday Accommodation Agency for holiday house accommodation, or for apartments not booked directly with the Hotel/Resort
      -   age and gender of children for toy boxes, and any particular interests that we will endeavour to accommodate;
      -   if the car seat is rear facing for an infant over 6 months of age (provided they are under 9kg);
      -   any special delivery requests:  ie. the timber cot to be placed in a particular room; phone Grandma in advance of arrival;
      -   extended checkout time

8.   Reconfirm the delivery method when prompted.  The delivery charge quoted at the beginning of the checkout process will only hold if reconfirmed at this point.

9.   For payment by bank transfer, please email the receipt once payment has been made.  For most banks this can now be done from the bank website at the time of making the transfer.

10.   A booking confirmation email is automatically generated at the end of the checkout process and forwarded to your email address immediately.  Please contact us if this email isn't received.


Option 2:   Send us an email booking request via the "Contact Us" page

For speedy processing of this option, please include the following information in your email:

-   Your name and mobile phone number
-   Items requested
-   The hire dates
-   The delivery address
-   The name the accommmodation is booked under if different from yours
-   A preferred delivery time
-   Payment method
-   Any questions or special requests

We will confirm your booking within 24 hours of receipt of the email.


Option 3:   Phone us with your booking

We will happily take your booking over the phone, and phoning through your order is particularly important for last minute requests.  Please have ready the information listed under "Option 2".
